Radio City Freedom Awards, Siren Fest and New Music!
Hi Maati Baani Family!
It’s summer already and we thought of updating with all thats happening!
From interesting festivals to taking up workshops, its been a wonderful 2018 so far and here we pick some of the most interesting news from Maati baani’s stable!
Siren Festival:
The first of its kind festival to happen in Mumbai helmed by Arre and curated by Zila Khan ji, Siren Festival felt like Mumbai welcoming summer! The sea side venue, Razzberry Rhinocerous was thoughtfully chosen - the weather was just perfect! We presented some of our unreleased songs that were received amazingly well and we also got to catch up with some phenomenal acts - all led by women artistes!
The great addition to this festival was to have mentorship sessions in which a woman leader from one field mentored other women!
Udaipur World Music Festival :
Organised by Seher Foundation, Maati Baani was thrilled to be a part of a great line up! The festival happened in the morning, noon and evening for 5 days together at some of the most picturesque locations of the City of Lakes- Udaipur!
We had an Australian Artiste - Linsey Pollak performing with us on stage and not-to-mention the audience loved his act as he made instruments out of paper, pipes and a metal stool!
Dhanak Rang Le!
In collaboration with Qyuki, we composed and performed Dhanak Rang Le for No.1 Yaari Jam! we played holi for 6 hours straight for this song and made up for all the last few years of not playing holi!

AYUDH Summit
Maati Baani’s concert at Amrita Enginnering College for AYUDH summit was telecast on Amrita TV! And this is how it looked!
Maati Baani at MICA
MICA - School of Ideas have been hosting Maati Baani for the last two years as a signing off session for ‘Crafting Creative Solutions’ Batch. While we go there to share our knowledge of how to bring creative ideas in advertising and branding - we come out more inspired by the kind of ideas the students share over a period of two days of intense sessions!

Radio City Freedom Awards
We are super looking forward to perform at the Radio City Freedom awards on 22nd of March. The indie music scene is on a rise and Radio City Freedom awards are a testament to that ! New Music
Right now we are composing and creating music for a six song album and which you will get to hear soon! All these songs will have videos in a beautiful setting! We can’t wait to share the new music with you but till then we hope to see you at one of our live shows or in some of our live sessions on FB/ Youtube / Twitter!
